Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information EntgenTech ("the app") collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store or have access to your actual password).
• Profile information: whatever you choose to enter about your background and skills, your country and (optionally) city or state, industry focus, capital, risk tolerance, and capital sourcing preference — used only to tailor the ideas, scores and reports the app generates for you.
• How you found us: if you arrive from a link that names its source (for example a launch listing) or from another website, your browser keeps that source name or that site's address for up to 30 days, and it is saved with your account when you sign up. We use it only to see which channels bring people to EntgenTech.
• Idea history: the ideas you generate or submit, their scores, and anything you build from them — investor materials, deliverables, Deep Market Test reports and Credit Finder reports.
• Payment information: handled by our payment processors — PayPal (PayPal balance or card) and NOWPayments (cryptocurrency). We never see or store your card number, PayPal login, wallet keys or other payment credentials. Neither processor is a "merchant of record": we are the legal seller for credit-pack purchases, so we keep a record of what was purchased, by whom, when, and the processor's transaction reference, for accounting and support purposes.

How we use it

• To provide the service: generating and scoring ideas, building investor materials and deliverables, running Deep Market Tests and Credit Finder reports, and tracking your credit balance.
• To send account-related emails: email verification, password reset, and purchase confirmations.
• To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse of the service.
• To see where the tools need work, using numbers only: how scores spread, which parts of a score vary, which reports fail to finish, and how many people go on from a score to a report. These counts never include the text of your ideas, your background, your name or your email address.

If you connect an AI assistant

You can connect EntgenTech to an AI assistant you use (for example ChatGPT or Claude). You choose to connect it on our page, after logging in. The assistant can then, on your request, read and update your profile, suggest and score ideas for you (using your free daily ideas), and list your ideas and their scores. It cannot spend your credits, buy anything or see your payments. What you type in the assistant, and the results we send back to it, are also handled by the assistant's provider under its own privacy policy. Ideas created this way are saved to your account like any other, marked with the assistant they came from. You can disconnect an assistant at any time on the Account card; deleting your account disconnects them all.

If you agree to help improve the tools

This is optional and off unless you turn it on, with the checkbox at sign-up or on the Account card in the app. If you turn it on, we may read your ideas and their scores and reports, and keep some of them in our internal set of test ideas, to check and improve how the tools score and plan. What we keep has no name or email address, but it does include the profile the idea was scored against (your background, country, budget and risk tolerance), because the score depends on it. We never publish these ideas or use them in marketing. You can turn this off at any time on the Account card: we then stop using your ideas, and remove any we kept within 30 days. Deleting your account does the same.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the app. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:

• Anthropic — processes your profile and idea details to generate the AI responses (ideas, scores, investor materials, deliverables, and Deep Market Test and Credit Finder reports).
• Google (Gemini API) — runs the live web searches behind the Deep Market Test and Credit Finder. It receives your idea's title and summary, its target region and industry, and a description of the need it addresses. It does not receive your email address, your name, or your background.
• Resend — sends verification, password-reset, and transactional emails on our behalf.
• PayPal — processes credit-pack payments made with a PayPal account or a debit/credit card. PayPal receives the purchase amount and a description of the pack; the payment details you enter go directly to PayPal, under PayPal's own privacy statement.
• NOWPayments — processes credit-pack payments made in cryptocurrency.
• Cloudflare — hosts the app, our database, and file storage.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising purposes.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account yourself at any time: in the app, go to Account at the bottom of the page and choose Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes your login details, your profile, every saved idea, and every report and document built from them, and any unused credits are lost.

If you made purchases, we keep a minimal record of each payment after deletion — the date, the size of the credit pack, its status, and the payment processor's transaction reference — with no email address and no link to an account. We keep this for our own accounting and so that a later refund or dispute can be matched to a payment. Our payment processors keep their own records of your transactions under their own policies.

If you can't log in, contact us at support@entgentech.com and we'll process the deletion for you.

Your rights

You can delete your account and its data yourself as described above. You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting support@entgentech.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (for example, GDPR in the EU/UK or CCPA in California) — reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate them.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you logged in (a session cookie). We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Security

Passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text), and all traffic to and from the app is encrypted (HTTPS).

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
